Read Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans. What a cute book!
Social Studies - Geography - Went downstairs and found Paris, France on world map and marked it.
Human relationships and feelings - Using discernment to figure out what's good and bad and being compassionate when situation calls for it. Made a list of things to do for people who are sick, sad or suffering. Talked about always taking action to show people that you care about them and their well being.
History - Madeline was written in 1933. Told J that Grammie and Grampa from ME were just Paul's age when this book was written! Looked through the book to find things that were different or similar to how they are today and what life was like for people (in some ways) back then.

SSM Workbook - 48-49 pgs - adding; subtracting; coloring; reading and solving word problems, writing line problems.
